Aiseesoft iPhone to Computer Transfer Ultimate is a very complete iOS backup utility. It allows you to connect your iOS device, be it an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to your computer and transfer its contents back to your hard drive or to an already existing iTunes library. This version lets you backup movies, music, photos, books, podcasts, your camera roll and photos.

If you have Messages installed on your device or if you use your SMS app, your conversations can also be backed up.

The graphical user interface is quite simple, and for the most part, responsive. The connected device will be listed on the left pane, and below it you will see all the file types that you can backup. When you click on one of these types, there will be a list of all the files stored on your iOS device. Then, you can simply check the files that you want to transfer back to computer and choose whether you want to send them to a folder on your hard drive or directly to iTunes. Loading photos can be a little slow. But, once the photos are loaded, browsing them is fast, which wasn't the case with other similar apps I tried before.

It should be noted that this app will work the same with the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, so if you have bought one of the other "Transfer" apps by Aiseesoft, you probably don't need this one.
